Including murder, Manslaughter, rape, drug cases, sexual misconduct, aggravated assault, assault with intent to kill, carrying a pistol without a license, embezzlement, wire fraud, postal fraud, conspiracy, and other felony charges in both state and United States District Courts and representation before grand juries.

MISDEMEANORS:
Including possession of illegal drugs, sexual solicitation, threats, domestic violence, unlawful entry and simple assault and other common misdemeanor charges in state courts.

TRAFFIC OFFENSES:
Including Driving While Intoxicated, Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, Reckless Driving, Speeding, Speeding 20 miles over the limit, and other traffic offenses

Ferris R. Bond and Jane Carol Norman have each been practicing criminal defense for approximately 30 years. Mr. Bond has tried ____________murder cases, ____rape cases and_____________________cases. He has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show in reference to his defense of the highly publicized “Condom Rape” case and has been defense counsel in other highly publicized cases. (See: Articles) He has filed multiple criminal appeals over the years in the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.

Ms. Norman has tried numerous cases in both the District of Columbia Superior Court, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and the United States District Court for Maryland. She is also admitted to the State Bar of California and takes selected cases there.

Mr. Bond and Ms. Norman have filed appeals in the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, the United States Court of Appeals for Maryland, the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the United States District Court for California.

PERSONAL INJURY LAWSUITS:

  • Federal Tort Claims Act: Lawsuits against the United States Government for injuries caused by the government negligence including civilian patient claims for medical malpractice against military hospitals; claims for injuries sustained on federal property; injuries sustained by federal employees.
  • Traffic Accidents: Lawsuits to recover compensation for injuries sustained in traffic accidents in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia
  • Civil Rights Violations: Civil Rights lawsuits including police brutality cases, use of excessive force by the police, injuries or death while in custody of the police or in prison
  • Wrongful Death: Lawsuits to recover compensation for the wrongful death of any person due to the negligence of any individual, government or company.

Bond & Jane Carol Norman are currently co-plaintiffs with a group of other attorneys in a case brought against the Islamic Republic of Iran for the wrongful death and injuries of service men in the 1983 Marine Barracks bombing in Lebanon. A judgment was entered against Iran in that case on_________________.
